The first look at the 'middle aged Love Island' set has been released, which has already been nicknamed the 'Viagra House' by locals after single parents searched for love

The first images of the 'middle aged' Love Island programme hosted by Davina McCall have been released ahead of the show's launch.

The Romance Retreat will see a group of single parents looking for love come together in a 'middle-aged version' of the hit ITV2 show.

Unlike the Love Island villa, the house is set in the English countryside and has already been dubbed the "Viagra House" by locals.

Filming has already been completed after six weeks, which saw over 35s on the look out for love.

Viola House in Midhurst, West Sussex was used in the new series and is surrounded by stunning gardens.

The huge house features a large driveway, outbuildings, a tennis court and patio area.

Host Davina has already shared her excitement for the show on social media as she said: "I manifested and I made it happen. I willed there to be an amazing new dating programme for grown-ups, people who have lived a life, who have been through experiences, bad, moving, they've had tough lives.

"They've got luggage but they deserve love and it's happening. It's coming to ITV soon."

The caption read: "Omg.. I manifested and it came true!! I’ll be hosting a brand NEW grown up dating series for ITV1 !! This is a show for single parents who have lived a life , have stories to tell about their dating pasts and deserve another chance at love and I’m gonna help you.

"It will all take place in the most romantic countryside location!"

The brand new ITV dating show is set to launch later this year on ITV1 and ITVX.

The Romance Retreat follows nominated single parents, from all over the UK and from all walks of life, as they live together in a stunning country house.

The contestants will share one objective, to find true love and the new dating show promises lots of highs and lows as the single parents look to find love again.

Davina was so passionate about a 'middle aged Love Island' that she wrote to ITV to pitch the show.

"I felt it was so important that I wrote to ITV 18 months ago and I said, "You guys need to do a midlife dating show." Also, I love Love Island," she told The Mirror.

Applications for the show opened in February with ITV putting out a call for "vibrant single parents across the UK who are in search of love".

ITV said the series will require the participation of a parent and their adult child.

People who could apply included the 'child', who will need to nominate one of their parents or p arents could also apply on their own but will have to nominate one of their children.
