One Last Round for “Images Framing and Fine Art” on North Gilbert
Jane and Michael Holtz are approaching the retirement finish line for their Images Framing and Fine Art business after 42 years.
At 421 North Gilbert, their location for the past 26 years (the first 16 were on Williams Street), a Retirement Open House and "Off the Wall" sale will be taking place Tuesday, June 6th through Thursday, June 8th; 10 AM to 6 PM all three days.
For Michael Holtz, it's been decades of creative projects; and they would love show appreciation to their many clients during the open house.
AUDIO: Tremendous amount of work for people; all sorts of different things, unusual things. Actually, we’re trying to see all of our former customers and say goodbye to them (and thank you) and thank you.
Jane Holtz says, it's been wonderful to follow their passion all these years.
AUDIO: Mainly we’ve been doing framing. Obviously with the name "Framing and Fine Art," fine art is our love. So, we get lots of different art in here to be framed, and we can appreciate everybody's tastes.
The plan for Jane and Michael Holtz right now is to hold regular hours with the "Off the Wall" sale continuing for a couple of weeks after the open house, and then go on a nice, long vacation. When they return, they will evaluate where things are, including the fact that the home of their business, a house built in 1907 and currently commercially zoned, is for sale
