GREENSBORO— Jacquelyn Williams Harris, known affectionately as Jackie, passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 84 in Greensboro, NC. Born on April 9, 1940, in Cash, Arkansas, Jackie was a cherished member of her community and touched many lives through her various roles and commitments.

Jackie graduated from Bartlett High School in 1958 and furthered her education at the Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, ultimately earning a BSN at Memphis State University. She proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1968, devoting her skills to the medical needs of her fellow service members. Professionally, Jackie dedicated herself to nursing, working at High Point Memorial Hospital and the Presbyterian Nursing Home. She also enjoyed a successful career as a local sales representative for Uttermost pictures and mirrors, becoming a beloved fixture at the Uttermost showroom during the semiannual High Point Furniture Market for 30 years. Jackie is cherished most for being a loving wife and mother. Her kindness and inclusiveness made her a neighborhood favorite with an endless supply of snacks and games.
