Promising review: "The covers are beautiful on this book and the pages throughout the entire book are equally beautiful. There are 30 'Cat Men' included inside along with many quotes about the much celebrated cat on the pages by many recognizable names. (Mark Twain, Ray Bradbury, Ernest Hemingway, Karl Lagerfeld, to name a few!) If the informative mini-history lessons don't draw you in, then the drawings will. I was engaged the entire time reading. The illustrations are really well done. Great concept, well delivered. I look forward to more work from Sam Kalda." —DreSno87

Promising review: "Love this book. I've never been to Japan but it fascinates me, whether it's literature, food, art, craft and interior design and architecture. The cover of the book is exceptional, beyond anything I've seen for a book cover, like its own fine Japanese construction of a paper screen. All the photographs are exquisite and the text is exceptionally interesting. There is so much to learn and enjoy here. I can't afford to take us to Japan, so I'm giving this book to all my friends for Christmas knowing it is a transporting read and, of course, a beautiful object to display on a coffee table." —Leah Reader

Bill, Judy, Sarah, and Kaitlin Leung are the family behind The Woks of Life, which was born out of their popular longtime cooking blog. Their recipes are inspired by dishes from Bill's family's Chinese restaurant, Judy's traditional-leaning Chinese cooking, and Sarah and Kaitlin's vegetable-forward and one-dish meals.

Buzzfeed writer Brittany Ross loves this book: I've been following the Woks of Life blog for years, and when I saw that they were coming out with a cookbook, I immediately pre-ordered it. Now that it's in my eager little hands, I've been bookmarking recipes left and right (photo for proof), and even made the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce the day after it came in the mail (see the other photo — so good!). It's currently on my coffee table for everyone to admire, and it's so dang stunning I plan on keeping it there for the foreseeable future.

Not that either of these icons really needs an introduction, but Jane Austen is most widely known for her six major novels, including Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma, and Martha Stewart is considered by many to be the *queen* of all things cooking, hosting, crafting, and entertaining.

BuzzFeed Shopping's Emma Lord has this book and LOVES it: "My mom got me one of these for my birthday, and I'm a lazy monster, so I haven't cooked out of it, but my STARS is it gorgeous. I leave it on my coffee table, but unlike other coffee table books, I actually read out of this one. The pictures are so beautiful and soothing. 11/10 would choose to live inside of it if I could."
